As a proactive measure, SVEC created a voluntary Incident Reporting tool in which patients, members and citizens can make a good faith report of possible privacy, security, or compliance concerns directly to the the organizations Designated Privacy Officer. Medical Record Requests
Southside Virginia Emergency Crew permits patients access to their medical record when the request process is followed and completed according to agency policy and in compliance with HIPAA law.
THIS PROCESS IS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW BY THE COMPLIANCE OFFICE AND PENDING APPROVAL. WE HOPE TO HAVE THIS AVAILABLE SOON.
